The Jambos defender was stretchered off in the weekend draw with Aberdeen due to a hamstring injury
Stephen Kingsley looks set to miss a major part of Hearts’ season.
The influential defender was stretchered off in the weekend draw with Aberdeen with a hamstring injury. Kingsley looks set to require surgery that will keep him sidelined for several months. The Tynecastle medical team believe that if things go well then the defender could be back before the end of the season.
It is a blow to Hearts boss Neil Critchley as he is a big player in the squad and has been a major part of their success in recent seasons. Critchley is currently trying to drag his team off the foot of the Premiership. They face Dundee at home this weekend and will be looking for the points to try and get back above city rivals Hibs.
Critchley also has injury concerns over Frankie Kent, who also went off injured against Aberdeen. Hearts are looking to bring in a striker in the January window but Kingsley’s injury means they might also look to bolster their defensive options.
